Winter storms

How each model's forecast for a storm changed as it got closer, and how it verified. The list covers every event since late 2024 with ≥ 1″ of snow at DCA, IAD or BWI. It also includes storms the models are forecasting now (checked every 6 hours) and forecast busts.

Observed snowfall from RCC-ACIS for the storm's days plus one day either side. The forecasts come from Open-Meteo's Previous Runs and Single Runs archives.
